We are currently accepting applications for BAKERS/PREP BAKERS for our scratch bakery. Duties for this position include mixing & baking cakes, cookie dough, brownies, bread pudding, quick breads and pound cakes as well as mixing frosting.
Schedule will include weekend shifts.
- Applicants should have at least one year in bakery/pastry/professional kitchen experience or have recently completed a bakery program in an accredited school.
- The ability to follow a recipe & scale recipes accurately.
- Have a flexible schedule and be able to work weekends and holidays.
- Must be capable of standing for long periods of time and be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must have a sense of urgency and be able to multitask.
- Must have a sharp eye for detail and be able to produce a consistent and quality product.
- Must display a commitment and willingness to learn, understand, and communicate with others.
- Must maintain cleanliness.
- Must be professional and accountable.
- Must have a current food handlers license
